First it was Bella Hadid and now its Robert Pattinson. British newspaper, The Daily Mail just named Robert Pattinson “the most handsome man in the world”. Dr. Julian De Silva, who is a cosmetic surgeon, uses the “science” of the Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi to measure the ratio of beauty.

The criteria for “perfect face” includes having the length of the ear being equal to the length of the nose and the width of the eyes being equal to the distance of the eyes. This ratio is the same method that was used during the European Renaissance when artists and architects were trying to construct their masterpieces. Robert Pattinson’s face perfection was found to be 91.25% “accurate” based upon the Golden Ratio of Beauty of Phi. I think this criteria pushes the agenda that if your don’t meet these “scientific” beauty standards then you aren’t attractive and that’s a total myth. A person’s worth should be centered on unrealistic ratios.
