Trump: The First Black President?

When Senator Barack Obama became America’s first black president, he made history. For the black community, Barack Obama became a symbol of hope that anything is possible if you just believe and work hard. The debate about whether Barack Obama was a great president or not is still up for debate among communities of all different races and ethnicities. However, the one aspect of his presidency that can never be taken away from him is that he was the first of his kind to achieve this accomplishment. Well, former NFL player Jack Brewer feels differently about who he considers to be the first black president of the United States.

New Radio Personality Charlemagne tha God gives Jack Brewer Donkey of the Day for his ridiculous comment

During a Black History Month round table discussion at the White House, Jack Brewer says “Mr. President, I don’t mean to interrupt, but I’ve got to say this because it’s Black History Month: man, you are the first black president”(thehill). Brewer’s comment to Trump sparked a lot of outrage but there was an abundance of support from the other celebrities that were in attendance. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on who they choose to support but you can’t go around making statements that are not true. Trump has never identified himself as being black, he doesn’t support the black community in no way shape or form, and he will never understand the harsh realities of being black in America. No matter how hard you try to denounce Barack Obama, he will always go down in history as being the first black president.
